Maharathi Movie Review
Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stunned to see Paresh Rawal's performance....
God i have no words....
really he is terrific.....
Directed by Shivam Nair, the movie has an excellent script.....
Performances are top notch, im speechless about Paresh Rawal
Tara Sharma also shows great performance at times....
the remaining cast such as Naseer Uddin Shah, Om Puri, Boman Irani and Neha Dhupia all have done their jobs brilliantly
but, this is Paresh Rawal's movie, hats off to him.....
9.5/10

I Hate Luv Storys Music Review
Movie starring Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor
Music By Vishal-Shekhar
Directed By Puneet Malhotra
1.Jab Mila Tu
Vishal Dadlani
Vishal Dadlani's soothing voice makes this a pleasant track...
Portions like Jab Mila Tuuuuuuu are nice....
2.Bin Tere
Shaqfat Amanat Ali Khan and Sunidhi Chauhan
Shaqfat Amanat Ali Khan's sufi type voice makes this a passionate track.
Even though the song resembles a little with the Phir Se song from the movie 'Toh Baat Pakki', we eventually dont care abt that, as the track is awesome
Sunidhi Chauhan's entry to the song is pleasant to hear....
3.I hate Luv storys
Vishal Dadlani
Again a vishal dadlani track....
Hmm, pretty average, but not so great as the previous two tracks
The portions like 'I hate luv storys' and 'i know u like me' are nice...
4.Bahana
Shreya Ghoshal
The track starts with a folk type lines, sung by somebody else..
Its a nice track, but i didnt like it in the first listening yesterday.
I liked it today!
5.Sadka Hua
Suraj Jaggan and Mahalaxmi Iyer
The track starts with making a deja vu feeling in mind, but things get better, and even nice in the following portions...
Mahalaxmi Iyer just supports Suraj jaggan, and she does her part well...
6.Bin Tere Reprise
Shekhar Ravjiani
Oh, thank God, finally we hear a song in Shekhar's voice....
Usually he doesnt sing much...
This is an outstanding track from him, presumably to be used in the gloomy portion of the film...
7.Bahana Reprise
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
Excellent track, with heavenly voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
I liked it more than the female version...
8.Bin Tere Remix
Shaqfat Amanat Ali Khan and Sunidhi Chauhan
A remix with some extra beats and some english lines....
Nothing much to say, a normal remix
Overall, the album offers some good tracks, and hope the songs wil be hits, and thus will contribut much to the success of the film....
My picks are Sadka Hua, Bahana Reprise, Bin Tere
PS: This is my first music review!!!

Hum Tum aur Ghost Movie Review
Well, its a hindi film starring Arshad Warsi, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani etc....
I watched this with minimal expectations, as the reviews were mainly negative...
But, this sincere attempt kinda impressed me!!!
Ya, its a pleasure to watch, with some interesting scenes, some eye-moisting scenes, and of cource, some clitche scenes also!!!
But overall, it made me feel gud....
Arshad Warsi performs well, and he has also written the script of the film!!
Its good to see him on screen...
Dia Mirza also has done well, and Boman Irani also....
The direction was also okay...
The main drawback of the film is its music, by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
they have unfortunately come up with a below average album this time...
overall rating, 6/10
Kites Movie Review
Saw the movie from Palakkad Priya
Im confused about the movie, the movie is excellent and in par with hollywood movies, in the technical side...
But, on the other hand, the story and the incidents doesnt look much impressive...
Movie started with excellent dance number from Hrithik and Kangana, but i dont understand, why is Hrithik a dance teacher in the movie?
It is just to show the dance skills of him, and it is not much related to main story....
There are very few good scenes, b/w Hrithik and Barbara, which moisted my eyes...
But, the topless scene was totally unwanted, i repeat, IT WAS TOTALLY UNWANTED...
The scene is just 8 or 10 seconds, there is nothing much, but it was not needed in the movie....
There are several clitches in the movie, but still hmm, ok ok
Anurag Basu excels as the director, but i was the only one who clapped wen his name was shown in the opening credit... :(
Performance wise, Hrithik did a tremendous job, Barbara also did her part quite well...
Kangana had nothing much to do....
There are few good songs, and my pick is Zindagi Do Pal Ki
overall, i dont know how to rate the movie.....

Makdee Movie Review
just watched the movie...
This is the directorial debut of Vishal Bhardwaj, who later directed Omkara, Kaminey etc...
Its a childrens' film, starring Shweta Prasad, who is known to all of us as the heroine of 'Ithu Njangalude Lokam' or 'Kotha Bengaru Lokam'
She had won the national award for best child artist, for her performance in this film...
well, the movie is really nice...
it says the story of some innocent and simple villagers, and a haunted mansion....
the movie has a fantastic performance by Shweta, as the twin sisters, Chunni and Munni...
its really nice to see her on screen...
The remaining cast also have done well, to name a few, Shabana Azmi, Makrand Deshpande etc...
The direction is so superb, and everything is fine...
It has got a perfect script, for the simple story...
Really a very good film with no minusses at all....
9/10

Badmaash Company Movie Review
Badmaash Company is surely worth a watch!! It has decent performances by everybody in the cast, superb sets, hummable songs, and all such things needed for a successful bollywood movie...
and considering the script, despite the fact that the whole script of the film was written in just 6 days by director Parmeet Sethi, the film has a good flow, even though there is some kind of lagging in the 15-20 minutes of the second hour....
The movie takes place in the Bombay of 1994, a group of friends trying to make easy money by illegal importing and exporting of goods...
The ideas showcased by the director are really wonderful, to say some, a 'gloves business', a 'house buying and selling business' etc....
film kaanumbo enthaayaalum ningalkk ishtappedum, njan detail aayi explain cheyyunnilla....
About the cast, Shahid Kapoor, with his short haired look, performs very wel in the trademark name 'Karan'.
He does his part well..
Anushka Sharma has changed a lot from the simple girl look in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, really its a shocking change!!!
She enacts her role with ease, and she is extremely dedicated to her character...
Another discovery is Vir Das, a guy i previously saw in the unnoticed movie 'Mumbai Salsa'..
He is terrific in his role, he really has got something to do in the industry...
Hope he wil get more chances...
the 4th one in the company is Meiyang Chаng, one from Jharkhand who has a chinese look....
He also did his role well, but it got shadowed by the performances of other ppl, in many situations...
Other people like Anupam Kher, Pawan Malhotra all did well....
Songs okke nannaayittundu, picturisation okke pinne parayendallo, Yash Raj films alle, aa oru touch undu, beach um foreign sets um casino yum okke....
Overall, oru nalla film aayittaanu enikk thonniyath....
Athyaavashyam nannaayi entertain cheythu....
It is really far better than Housefull, for sure...
i give it 7/10,
i cud hav given 8 if the dir. had concentrated a little more towards the lagging scenes..
definitely worth a watch, IMO!!
