Badmaash Company Movie Review

Badmaash Company is surely worth a watch!! It has decent performances by everybody in the cast, superb sets, hummable songs, and all such things needed for a successful bollywood movie...

and considering the script, despite the fact that the whole script of the film was written in just 6 days by director Parmeet Sethi, the film has a good flow, even though there is some kind of lagging in the 15-20 minutes of the second hour....

The movie takes place in the Bombay of 1994, a group of friends trying to make easy money by illegal importing and exporting of goods...

The ideas showcased by the director are really wonderful, to say some, a 'gloves business', a 'house buying and selling business' etc....

film kaanumbo enthaayaalum ningalkk ishtappedum, njan detail aayi explain cheyyunnilla....

About the cast, Shahid Kapoor, with his short haired look, performs very wel in the trademark name 'Karan'.
He does his part well..

Anushka Sharma has changed a lot from the simple girl look in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, really its a shocking change!!!

She enacts her role with ease, and she is extremely dedicated to her character...

Another discovery is Vir Das, a guy i previously saw in the unnoticed movie 'Mumbai Salsa'..
He is terrific in his role, he really has got something to do in the industry...

Hope he wil get more chances...

the 4th one in the company is Meiyang Chаng, one from Jharkhand who has a chinese look....

He also did his role well, but it got shadowed by the performances of other ppl, in many situations...

Other people like Anupam Kher, Pawan Malhotra all did well....

Songs okke nannaayittundu, picturisation okke pinne parayendallo, Yash Raj films alle, aa oru touch undu, beach um foreign sets um casino yum okke....

Overall, oru nalla film aayittaanu enikk thonniyath....

Athyaavashyam nannaayi entertain cheythu....

It is really far better than Housefull, for sure...

i give it 7/10,
i cud hav given 8 if the dir. had concentrated a little more towards the lagging scenes..

definitely worth a watch, IMO!!
