The Uninvited Movie Review

Directors: The Guard Brothers
Cast: Emily Browning, David Strathairn, Arielle Kebbel, Elizabeth Banks etc

The Uninvited is an American remake of a Korean film of the same name. Korean remakes are mostly good, and there is no exception for ‘The Uninvited. It is good, it has got some creepy moments, and most importantly it has got an excellent ending. It is so good, that the movie will stay in our minds for days, even after watching it. Apparently, the Indian film ‘Hide& Seek’ has inspired a little from the suspense this film showcases in its end, and it was also a very good thriller.
To be frank, Uninvited is more of a thriller, than a horror movie. It is not stretched out long, to make the audience get bored, it has a handy duration of 80 minutes, and the director is able to express what he has in mind, in these 80 minutes.

The lead girl is beautiful, and enacts her part well. The ‘villain’ lady is also good. Also, all other artists have done their roles well. The cinematography has nothing special to be mentioned, the BGM is good.

On the whole, The Uninvited is an awesome movie with a fantastic ending. Watch it, you will know!!

8/10
